Just setup a windows 11 test box. Going to be setting up several older games, including the NOLF games on it to see how they run.

Ran  NOLF 2 on Windows 11 just fine last night. 

I'll be checking the other two games in the next couple of days. 

I had no problems with Nolf1 on Windows 11. I was using DGVoodoo2 (v2.75.1 -- the latest when I posted this) and the Modernizer mod. I'll need to run through the whole game to see if there are any unexpected gotchas, but it loads and works.

Note: You may need to adjust your display settings the first time. The game didn't like the defaults, but setting things closer to my native resolution worked.

Note: My Windows 11 Pro install was an upgrade from Windows 10 Pro. I mention it as that might make a difference for someone else.

 

No problems with NOLF1 and NOLF2 using RTX 3070 and Wiindows 11 with modernizer mod

CJ crashes, cant extract files with the tools , so Im looking for a solution to at least get the textures and models for NOLF2

How were you installing it? I was able to install CJ and the tools from the original discs (version 1.0 of the game) without an issue. Were you doing the same or using a different source?

i wish to replay this game that i had so much fun decades ago

 

i have a TERRA laptop 

 

cpu : intel core i7 1355u
Ram : 32 Go
gpu : intel iris XE
SSD 

so i guess depsite its an integrated graphic chips of the CPU i should be able to run the game (i recently played MaxPayne 1 et 2 wtihout any slowness or bugs)

But here with NOLF 1 the game stars but many glitches on the screen, and as soon as i exit the 1st corridor the games crashes and exits , also the characters dont show up even in the cinematics , also the tires of the truck in the first intro scene 

what should i do ?

i have installed VOODOO FX, enabled the Direct3D, but how should i proceed for the game to the VOODOOFX and not my integrated intel ?

i guess i'm missing a few steps to have the game running smooth (i downloaded the game from  http://www.abandonware-france.org it has already the modernizer mod (and FR patch) the game version seems to be version 5

what do you advise me ?
