Okay, its working on 1 of our PCs but not on the other. We keep getting the error message "Unable to join the selected game session" when starting Doomsday. We see the servers though. Just cant enter. And single player also works fine. But the most important online DD game wont connect. Do you think you know what could be wrong?

Thank you! Does that mean I should delete the old modernizer from the NOLF folder or does the new modernizer overwrite the old one somehow?

Hello all, can somebody help me please? I had NOLF2 running on 3 PCs for the last few months and it was running fine and I played DD online with my boys and friends. With the modernizer installed of course. All of a sudden, after starting the game, it tells me I need to "install an update". And when I ignore that, there are no servers to play on.... It's the same on all 3 computers. What does that mean? How can I fix it?

THX. I have solved the problem by reinstalling all needed files. Its running and Im playing!

I need help. I've been playing NOLF2 on my MacBook Pro with Bootcamp and Windows 10 installed and it's been working fine for the past months (apart from the fact that there are too few NOLF2-payers around). Suddenly something has changed in the visuals of my NOLF2: There are weird boxes around symbols and there are box-like shapes instead of fumes, gases, stunning granades. You can see on my fotos that it looks a little like Minecraft. That makes it hard to play. Can anybody plz help? I haven't changed anything in my Windows or NOLF2 settings. THX. Hugo

When I try to dl your UNITY HQ Mappacks I get an "error 404 not found" is it enough to dl the "updated NOLF 2 mappack"?

Hey Eliteone! I bought a used windows laptop on ebay, installed everything and now its WORKING! Cant wait to play Doomsday again...! Is there a way to connect with other players, to meet at a certain time? so happy.......

I think NOW I have it selected, right? But now the system is asking me to install something called DirectX 8.1. I am still on a Mac using CrossOver. What might DirectX 8.1 be and do I really need it?

I have the modernizer downloaded and in the same folder as the game. How do I "select" it?

Okay but it says here "no servers detected" after I downloaded the server list from SFIclan. What am I doing wrong? see pic please...

Hey Elite, I managed to get NOLF2 running with the CrossOver software on my Mac, so it is the Windows version running. It is so cool! I have the modernizer istalled, but how do I join a server?

Just to understand you correctly: I will erase the old NOLF software completely and install everything from scratch?

Hey Elite, thank you so much for your reply! So good to see that you're still here. So I have a few questions now: I have tried the old Join by IP tool but couldn't connect to a map. So should I delete it and the old version of the complete game, too? And then install (like you wrote) from the downloads and the modernizer mod? All new from scratch? And how will I join servers then, with what tool?

Hello Nolfers! I hope you are all doing well! We used to play NOLF2 on a regular basis some 14 yrs ago. Remember me? My sons have grown and I am planning to install NOLF2 on 3 PCs so I can play with my boys but also online. I'd like to know: Are some of you still interested in playing Doomsday online? Does the Join by IP tool still work? Are the DD maps still rotating on a server? I can't wait to play this wonderful game again some time this year... Hugo
