Hello all, my first post. We are running a NOLF 2 dedicated server with the LivesForeverPlus mod and nothing else installed, so that players on older operating systems like WIn2k/XP can find and join the server with little trouble. I was wondering if the Modernizer mod breaks compatibility with our server once it's installed on the client, can players join while having it?. Thanks!

Hello everyone! You might have noticed a new NOLF2 server on the master list, that's us! It took us a while to figure out how to properly host it, but it's running fine now and also, you can even play with legacy Windows versions with the Plus & PlusForever patch, unlike say, Aliens vs Predators 2, which you can't do anymore with current patches (Only modern Windows versions). We are building a small preservation project that includes game servers of several time-related action games, I would describe it as a "living museum" of a wonderful era for pc gaming Thank you, Unity HQ, and also thanks to SFI clan for the master server privilege. Edit: Turns out you can play online Aliens vs. Predators 2 (another Monolith masterpiece) with a Win XP system and later, however current patches won't work with a Win98 or Win2000 system. It's not that bad for old hardware owners, you know, the retro computing thing.
