  1. Yes, and I did write that in there, but the forum butchered it and only left "www", as seen in your quote. (And if I put it in as a link it generates that "shall not be named" text for some reason...) But most of the threads I have bookmarked don't seem to be archived. Only, like two.
  2. Hi! I vaguely remembered checking out a forum many years ago. As it turns out I have a dozen or so bookmarks for http://www.The site that shall not be named. The site that shall not be named . The site that shall not be named. The site that shall not be named. It would be nice to check them out. From the title I don't know why I bookmarked some. And web archive mostly ignored the website. Was it archived by anyone before/after it was shut down?
  3. Well, I managed to get the MAC files. It's less then I expected. 64kbps 22050hz, so not high fidelity. Anyway it could be put up on this website for completeness sake: https://mega.nz/file/NhgFyQgb#2Zm9E7XqKFPbXoKLOLJvQypE11wcCzBSBVmzrqTBeNY The music is in parts, so some sorting may be required. I left the SGT files in place, they are only a few bites, so it's the music folder as it is. Also, some are actually the same. I just realized a bunch of tracks appear in multiple missions folder. I guess they should be there, since they were neatly organized into separate folders. (Unless the ripping tool did something weird)
  4. Did you check if the game exe is running. If lithtec.exe is still running, you might need to kill it with task manager.
  5. For unknown reasons a new soundtrack was composed by a different composer, not Guy Whitmore. (There's conflicting info about that. Either Nathan Grigg, or Rebecca Kneubuhl) He also apparently didn't compose for the GOTY extra levels. Maybe he split with Monolith for some reason. (But his music wasn't replaced for the mac edition for some reason) It certainly doesn't have the dramatic tone and atmosphere. What sucks more that it doesn't match the tone of scenes. There's a rather cheery soundtrack over the intro cutscene for one: But I figured it would be good for listening music in the background, on occasion.
  6. Version 1.0.0

    2 downloads

Soundtrack from the PS2 version. Extract the zip file and play on your favourite media player.
  7. Not particularly big, 275 MB losslessly compressed for 3 hours of music. As it turns out it's mono and 24khz. https://mega.nz/file/QloExbjZ#BX03QoCx06SZOPuoX0W3eSst7-Eioyu4nE4kIQElFdE
  8. Did you not try the version from unityhq? That should work out of the box. PS: It was edited by someone, but I originally mentioned nolfrevival, because it has the modernizer integrated, as well as having an exe installer. Close to plug-and-play.
  9. Thanks. Hm. It seems I have this. It has problems. It's has missing instruments (for example "13. BaDeDum.mp3"), and there's no reverb which makes it sound artificial. Also it's encoded in really low quality mp3. So Anyway, I'm qoing to try to continue to do dig up the mac files, maybe that's in a format more easily convertible. On a related note: I managed to extract the PS2 music, and I wanted to submit it here. But I can only select the "James Bond Nightfire" categories. The others are un-selectable. Why is this?
  10. That's where I'm pretty much stuck. Oh well...
  11. It's weird that I can't even find a single second of footage from Mac gameplay. The basis my thinking of the mac version having the original audio, but not in DirectMusic format is what ChatGPT said, but I can't verify.
  12. Hi! So I tried it with NOLF1, on a slim chance it might play something. But it froze when I chose the Nolf Music folder, And gave an error "[CONSOLE PRINT]: IMA: Invalid instrument files. Failed to setup instruments!" When I set it to a specific music folder within. Oh well, it was worth a try.
  13. Hi! Thanks! So this appeared just the other day? Interesting. Though not a good sign that there's no mention of NOLF. Don't you happen to have an installed/unpacked instance of MacOS nolf? Specifically the music folder.
  14. Hi! It's an old nuisance that I can't listen to the game music in any convenient way. LTDMTest.exe mostly works but it's incredibly cumbersome, and fails with the "Ambush" music. I found some tools, but they mostly failed at playing or extracting audio from the DLS/SGT/STY files nolf uses. I even tried directmusic producer, but it also fails wit Ambush for some reason, It can't even play SGT-s and the motifs in the STY. Playback seems to work with the other compositions (I tried "Nolftheme"). But exporting to wav seems completely non-functional. A new idea I had was try to unpack the audio from the MAC version, it shouldn't use the troublesome long abandoned Directmusic format. But I got stuck on being unable extract the game installer.
