Natter
While that is an "option" it's not one that can be technically done due to the license agreement of the software. Just a stupid question.... what do u think.. whats the price of the nolf2 license.

MajorPayne
Just a stupid question.... what do u think.. whats the price of the nolf2 license. The price is the agreement you bind yourself too when you install the software. You have the right to unistall it if you disagree with the license agreement. Installation of the software is concidered your agreement to it.
Nvodnociek
Well, for whatever reason, we obviously made a good impression on them as the servers are working agin. That's very cool and I woudl hope that it will influence them to continue to keep them working. Good job NOLF community! (BTW...where is everybody...nobody playing right now!) FortranDragon
Hmmm i mean: What u think costs the copyright for the Nolf2 game The rights on the whole game 1 Million $ ??? Tens or even hundreds of millions. I doubt the copyright for the "whole game" resides with just one company. You might need to deal with Sierra/Vivendi, Fox, and Monolith/Time Warner all together. Getting the copyright from all of those would not be cheap since all of those companies know that IP is quite valuable. You'd be better off negotiating a license to the property since I can't see them selling the copyright unless you made them an insane offer.
