Spacko
Oh yes. I thought 'Oh how horrible and how beautiful,' when I first saw it, and I still do. I love it! Will go and play that game now.
[FF5]Knix
Hasidic rapper Matisyahu sez.... "Vat no Chanukah motif? Ya anti-semetic Mashugunas!"
Belladonna
Hey, it was hard enough for me just to use 'Happy Holidays' instead of 'Merry Christmas'.
RXS
Looks nice....I say we stay away from the "P.C." crap and change it Merry Christmas.
[FF5]Knix
You know me, I ain't exactly what you would call, er .....PC. I also don't care if you have Jesus Christ himself on the cross floating down instead of the snowflakes. I'm only half Jewish, and a practicing agnostic... That being said, you don't think the Non-Christian holidays should be represented? OMG I've never been on this side of the fence before . The Wreath on the top righthand side of the post blocks out the sentences though...
RXS
Sure, put in Merry Christmas and Happy Chunnakah
Eliteone
I'm a Buddist and I don't have a problem with the "Happy Holidays" part. There is nothing in this theme that makes a religious statement of any kind. "Happy Holidays" can include Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and even New Years. It's a pretty generic statement
[FF5]Knix
Ahhh so that must be one of them Xmas/Chanukah/Kwamsa/Budda's Birthday Trees at the top of the page then. My bad.
RXS
No Knix, that is a Holiday Tree! Not a Christmas tree (even though Christmas is the only holiday that uses a tree as a key symbol during the celebration) Edited December 2, 2005 by RXS
Belladonna
Plus I hardly think it's a Christian statement to have pistols and explosive kitties on the tree.
MajorPayne
Why is this even an issue?
[FF5]Knix
Relax major, no need to rush in and be heroic...i'm just pulling all your chains. Its not an issue...just having fun.... However while I have your attention...you never answered a question I asked you...do you play NOLF2? The reason why I ask...is I never see you. Now I don't care if you do or if you don't. You're making kissy face with the big cheese of this outfit, so you're in through association, but you seem to have points about the game (phos good/bad, etc), just wondering. RXS
I heard an old saying "A man marries a woman hoping she will never change....a woman marries a man hoping to change him." So, if this holds true, change what he likes to play and make him play some multiplayer with us
