As i mentioned before....i changed to 1+1

and the problem was solved when they upgraded their

servers. The more and more cheaper flatrates makes more

users surfing. The problem begun when T-com offers the 9.90€ flat.

T-com must buy more servers...thats all i think

Call them and say:"Hey u dumbnoodles...gimme another line

or i change to another company....quick"

Sooo...I called my ISP today asking them wth is up. They checked my line and said that everything was running smoothly. Thus I doubt it's my line who messes it up.

The good news is that my ping on the DM servers is quite normal and my ping on sfi dd server is stable at 190 now I think (hope). E1, did you change something on the servers maybe? Like new server location or shix?

And if not...what shall I do? :S

Nope everything is the same on the servers.

update: my connection is works properly (my ISP just called)...

I just checked my pings again and I have my usual 140-150 ping on the SFI Practice Server, but still my 200-300 ping on SFI DD and NS server. I don't think it's the Master Server (as my ping on DM and now on SFI Practice DD Servers are normal)...

So what could it be? Is the SFI Practice server hosted by another machine?

Is the SFI and NS server hosted by the same machine? Maybe the host messed something up

If you guys are having bad pings with your current providers............ I know if I were in your predicament I'd be shopping around for a new ISP. You pay them every month to provide a reasonable service and you should get what you pay for.

Caip the SFI practice and DM servers are hosting on a different "box" than our DD server (ironically farther away fro you)

The NS server is not on the same machine or host than the SFI DD server.

Plus I have a few config tricks that I've used over the last couple years ;)

I don't think it has necessarily to do with our ISP. I'm still suspecting a change in the network structure to be the problem. Just one node changed or so. Although the packets can take arbitrary routes over the internet, usually there are preferred channels (physical and virtual) that can even be set. They can even be changed, e.g. at noon/evening to accommodate times of heavy load. Perhaps THAT's the reason for your better noon ping...since the other servers are working fine for us, there's one friggin route that gives us the problem. I don't know who to contact. Telekom is still exclusively maintaining the net structure/HW in Germany as far as I know.
