Help needed! NOLF2 won't start anymore :-(

Featured Replies

Hello Nolfers, who can help me?

Situation: NOLF2 was running fine (with latest modernizer) on Windows 11. And the SUDDENLY all changed: After launching the game there is a white rectangle on black and you can hear the music that comes with the starting logos but you can't see them .... and nothing more happens. Game has been reinstalled. But it won't start, the white rectangle doesn't go away. There were noch changes made from the user's side in the software. What is this?

I will check if it is running in compatibility mode (windows XP). If so, is that bad or good or what would that mean?

Due to it being originally made for Windows XP it runs best in that mode also running it as administrator makes it work properly.

Ok it took a while but we checked: it runs under administrator and in compatibility mode (so it seems). And it worked before and no changes were done to the game or the system.

Any other idea what could be the cause for the problem?

Is there any information about it in the event logs?
