Crystalline Chaos Featured Event

While major powers struggle for stability in the midst of the latest crisis, the Tholian web extends unseen above their prey. They make no distinctions between the Romulan Republic and the Tal Shiar. They are advanced, enigmatic, and patient… and they have chosen this moment of galactic distraction to undertake their usual machinations… but long-range sensors have also detected the emergence of a massive Crystalline Entity being trailed by fleets of Tholian vessels! Beginning on May 5th, the Tholians' multi-front assault will once more take the galactic center stage, this time under the new codename: Crystalline Chaos!

The Crystalline Chaos Featured Event will include the Crystalline Catastrophe (Space) TFO, Azure Nebula Rescue (Space) TFO, and the Vault: Ensnared (Space) TFO. Players can choose to play any of these TFOs to gain Daily Progress towards the grand prize.

Participating in this Event will grant you progress towards our eighth Event Campaign and give all players the opportunity to earn the Tholian Universal Kit Frame ∞, which provides defensive bonuses to you and provides additional set-based bonuses to your Universal Kit Module - Tholian Technology Suite and the Tholian Shocktrooper Radiation Cannon when worn together.

Crystalline Chaos 2026 – Activity Details

Three activities will be participating in this Event:

Crystalline Catastrophe – Space TFO

*Newly re-tuned and revamped as a 5-man TFO, debuting with this event!

A Crystalline Entity has been sighted in our galaxy! Join Admiral T'nae in taking down this colossal destroyer of worlds, before it's too late.

Our objective revamping this TFO was to make it more accessible to players through the queues, while also branding a new fresh coat of paint to it. We have improved visuals, added VO, improved readability of the mechanics and even added some new secondary objectives. We hope you all like it!

Azure Nebula Rescue – Space TFO

The Tholians are holding captured Romulan ships in the mysterious Azure Nebula. Assist the Romulan Star Empire by penetrating the Tholian defenses and freeing the captured ships.

Vault: Ensnared – Space TFO

A Tholian invasion force has targeted the Vault and Obisek is calling for reinforcements. Team up with the Remans and defend the station before the Tholians spin their webs and carry the Vault into another dimension!

Players will be able to earn their Daily Progress once every 20 hours by completing either TFO of their choosing. Either of the above Activities may be played as much as you like each day, so pick and choose how you prefer to gain Progress each day and mix it up as much (or as little) as you like!

Crystalline Chaos 2026 – Event Rewards

Accruing a total of 14 Days’ worth of Daily Progress will allow you to claim the Grand Prize of the Crystalline Chaos 2026 Event. This reward includes all the following:

• Tholian Universal Kit Frame ∞ (Account Wide Reward)
  • Complete details on this Kit Frame capabilities are included later in this blog.
  • Once earned, every character on your account will be able to claim this unique Kit Frame.
  • Other characters on your account may visit the “Reclaim Rewards” store interface to pick up their Kit Frame once you have collected this on any character.
• 3x Featured TFO Reward Boxes (Single Character Reward)
  • Each gives a choice of 1x Specialization Point or an Enhanced Universal Tech Upgrade
• 25,000 Dilithium Ore (Single Character Reward)
  • Issued immediately for use as you see fit!

(Note: The Featured TFO Boxes and Dilithium Ore are only rewarded once, to the first character on your account that claims the Grand Prize.)

Reward Details: Tholian Universal Kit Frame ∞

Best Tholian enemies at their own game by adopting the Tholian Universal Kit Frame today! When equipped, this Kit Frame grants you enhanced Radiation Resistance, a healthy amount of mods geared towards survival, and grants healing upon taking Radiation damage.

Additional bonuses are also gained when equipping this new Kit Frame at the same time as two previous Event Rewards:

Additional Rewards

After claiming the Grand Prize, you will unlock the option of earning additional Dilithium Ore each day that you continue participating in the content associated with Crystalline Chaos 2026. Each day you earn the Daily Progress you will be automatically granted a bundle of Dilithium Ore.

This bonus reward will begin at 8,000 Dilithium Ore for the first day’s completion, then scales up with each subsequent bonus completion that you achieve. The more you play, the more you continue to earn!

Event Campaign VIII

This Featured Event will be the third of a series of upcoming Events that will participate in the eight installment of our multi-event system known as an Event Campaign. Throughout the year, you’ll have the chance to earn progress in six events to earn the Grand Prize: A Tier 6 Infinity Promotional Ship of your choice, two free T6 Zen Store Coupons, AND 1500 Lobi!

• Players may earn 50 Event Campaign Progress for each day they participate in an eligible event.
• Buying out an eligible event will include up to 700 Event Campaign Progress.
• Each event’s buyout only grants as much Event Campaign Progress as is relative to the amount paid, after pro-rated discounts are applied. This means that paying half price, (because you participated in 7 out of 14 of the required days so far) will grant you 350 Event Campaign Progress. Essentially, you get what you pay for.

Zen Buyout Option

For players interested in instantly completing the Crystalline Chaos 2026 Event – whether that is due to worries over finding the play time to complete it, or simply wanting to move immediately into earning Bonus Rewards – we will be offering a method for buying out.

Within the Event UI, an option will be presented that allows you to purchase the remaining progress you need, for a scaling amount of Zen. The base price for this service will be 2,500 Zen, but every single Daily Progress you earn will reduce that price on a percentage basis. Thus, if you have already earned 7 Daily Progress (half of the 14 required), this price will be reduced to 1,250 Zen. The more you play, the cheaper the Buyout Option becomes, dynamically!

Availability

Crystalline Chaos 2026 will begin on PC on May 5th, 2026, and run for 3 weeks before concluding. It will appear on consoles on June 30th, 2026!
