You know I've posted that lots of times on this board. Also if the CD key part of the master server is offline the direct join won't work FYI ;)

You could host as dedicated if you ran the NOLF2Srv.exe file to launch from.

Seems it works now

my personal opinion:

By buying the game inc. the multiplayer option we got a contract with sierra!

Sierra breaks this contract a lot of times now...and it seems they put the master server in some kind of 2nd hand server !!!

I vote: no more regards on the copyright....enough is enough :angry2:

Serious Sam II come out OCT '05

Da heck with F.E.A.R ...this game is gonna kick 'donkey'.

Oh man they destroy the best game ever made

Is it possible to make a mod wich can join dircet without the master server cd-key validation?

*baps KNIX and Natter just for the fun of it*

Such a pity NOLF2 isn't being given the consideration it deserves. If only the players could be more in charge of things. Oh well.

I'm really looking forward to Sam myself, but nothing will ever take the place of NOLF for me.

I'll bet there's nothing wrong with the darn servers. I bet all this is part of their business plan. You think they want to support a game that's not earning them any money anymore? Does anyone here play any of their more recent, more popluar games? And are they going down all the time, too? Hmmmmm.....

Thanks for the "X" Files perspective :P
