You know I've posted that lots of times on this board. Also if the CD key part of the master server is offline the direct join won't work FYI Quote
RXS Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 UP down UP down UP down UP down Sierra is killing me. They need to invest in better hampsters to run their servers. Quote

Eliteone Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 argh!!! this sucks! I can't even host because it says invalid cd-key GRRRR!!!!!! You could host as dedicated if you ran the NOLF2Srv.exe file to launch from. Quote
Natter Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Seems it works now my personal opinion: By buying the game inc. the multiplayer option we got a contract with sierra! Sierra breaks this contract a lot of times now...and it seems they put the master server in some kind of 2nd hand server !!! I vote: no more regards on the copyright....enough is enough Quote
[FF5]Knix Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Hey Natter welcome to club! I've made this argument for months, but then I get *bapped on the head* from E1. May I make another suggestion to all NOLFers? Serious Sam II come out OCT '05 Da heck with F.E.A.R ...this game is gonna kick 'donkey'. Quote
Surak Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 I tried it, Fear is better. Must be because I dont have a dell, and my computer can handle Fear at good fps Quote

SAssER Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Oh man they destroy the best game ever made Is it possible to make a mod wich can join dircet without the master server cd-key validation? Quote
Belladonna Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 *baps KNIX and Natter just for the fun of it* Such a pity NOLF2 isn't being given the consideration it deserves. If only the players could be more in charge of things. Oh well. I'm really looking forward to Sam myself, but nothing will ever take the place of NOLF for me. Quote
{GD}Independent Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 I'll bet there's nothing wrong with the darn servers. I bet all this is part of their business plan. You think they want to support a game that's not earning them any money anymore? Does anyone here play any of their more recent, more popluar games? And are they going down all the time, too? Hmmmmm..... Quote
Eliteone Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Thanks for the "X" Files perspective Quote
{GD}Independent Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 The truth is out there. I want to believe. Quote
