File Name:
=================
Patch Nolf_Nolf2_CJ_hosts_Patch_1_1.

Games:
=================
Nolf, Nolf2, Contract J.A.C.K.

File Submitter: orion98

File Submitted: 5 Dec 2015

File Category: zip
=================

More information:
=================
The patch is in the archive.
The archive contains:
1. Installer / Uninstaller
2. HELP
4. Listing bat-file
Bat-file is converted into exe-file using "Advanced BAT to EXE Converter"
I hope a professional programmer would do better,... but it works.

Description
================
Replaces the master servers "GameSpy" (disabled now) on "Qtracker"
Now "Qtracker" is analogous to "GameSpy"
The program adds a few lines in the file "hosts"
C: \ Windows \ System32 \ drivers \ etc \ hosts

Contract J.A.C.K. : Classic Online game completely restored (game+server). No problems. After switching off the master server "GameSpy" valid CD-key is irrelevant.
If you have lost a box with a key, then you can take from the archive CD-key generator

NOLF: work, see here
http://unityhq.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=4713

NOLF2 : Now, the game server is started.
For the rest, there is no change, (you need a mod LivesForever )

Installing
===============
Installing Nolf_Nolf2_CJ_hosts_Patch_1_1.exe
after... read your file hosts here C: \ Windows \ System32 \ drivers \ etc \ hosts

Old file hosts saved in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

as the file hosts_OLD_1

Uninstalling
============
Uninstalling Nolf_Nolf2_CJ_hosts_Patch_1_1.exe

This file hosts_OLD_1 will be restored as hosts... i.e. Restore the original file hosts

How it works
============
Your game will query "GameSpy"(disabled now), but the file hosts forwards the query to the "Qtracker"

One thing to add. If your hosts file contains other entries DO NOT remove them. Add the lines for this to that file.

Additionally I would recommend making a backup of the original file.

With Windows Vista and later you will have to copy the file to your desktop, make the additional entries and save it. You can then copy the updated file back into it's directory.

Fixed post and a link to download

Installation: Old file hosts saved in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc as the file hosts_OLD_1

Uninstall: This file hosts_OLD_1 will be restored as hosts

...Oops ... another problem ... :c-1:

14 of 50 Anti-Virus blocks the file change hosts..

Here:

https://www.virustotal.com

Ok... the installer and uninstaller are combined into one module with the program "Install Creator"

... Now Anti-virus is not blocking ...
