celux Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 hi, how do I show more of the arm and weapons in first person? I saw in some videos that it is possible to do this Quote
Eliteone Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Links to the videos? Haven't seen them personally. Quote
FortranDragon Posted June 11, 2024 Posted June 11, 2024 The game hides her hands and arms when she has holstered whatever weapon or item she was holding. If you want to see them more often hold some item (such as the codebreaker) while you move around. Quote
celux Posted June 11, 2024 Author Posted June 11, 2024 it's not this, watch the video above, I don't see my arms like that Quote
FortranDragon Posted June 12, 2024 Posted June 12, 2024 What display resolution are you using? (From the in-game menu, Options -> Display -> Resolution) I'm wondering if you are using a low resolution where they just don't draw the arms? Also, are you using any mods? Quote
FortranDragon Posted June 13, 2024 Posted June 13, 2024 Right now I'm stumped for any suggestions. I switched my resolution down to your resolution and had no issues. What type of computer are you using? A laptop or a desktop? Do you know if you are using integrated graphics (common on a laptop) or a discrete graphics card (common on a desktop)? Sorry if these are basic questions for you. I'm trying to see if I can determine what differences there are between your system and mine. Quote
celux Posted June 13, 2024 Author Posted June 13, 2024 Sorry but do you see the protagonist's arms like in the video I linked above? Quote
FortranDragon Posted June 14, 2024 Posted June 14, 2024 Yes. Here's an (resized) image of where I am in the game in my most recent playthrough. You can see her arm holding the crossbow, which matches what is in the video you linked to. Quote
celux Posted June 14, 2024 Author Posted June 14, 2024 I'm sorry but I'm wrong, in the screenshot you posted I know you can see from the wrist up, as you can see on me, in the video you can see almost the entire arm and weapon Quote
Eliteone Posted June 15, 2024 Posted June 15, 2024 Only thing I can think of is to try altering the FOV. In the autoexec.cfg file there is a line for fov that you could try to change the value for. It should be this for default "FOV" "75" Quote
