Well what's happening with this petition?  Has it been sent off yet?  I can't see us getting many more people involved.  Did anyone post it at TGF?

Agent mentioned he was going to. Petition was at 130 last night. We need as many nolf players to sign it as possible as it has more clout that way.

Cool Factor. Though don't push it by oversigning it ;)

I wanted to clear something up since I heard a rumour of some confusion about the petition's origin.

The petition idea came up in a conversation with Major (Mark) and I one night. WE have those late night chats alot cause we are dating each other and have been for sometime now............................................................

Oh my God. It's time to stop bragging about your fancy French education, if you're going to spout crap like that!

4 independent, *liberal*, news organizations including the Miami Herald, New York Times, CNN, and USA Today proceeded with recounts for a full 6 months after the US Supreme Court stopped the insanity that the Florida Supreme Court was engaged in, and in every case, it was shown that Bush won by every possible means of counting ballots -- chads, pregnant chads, and hanging chads aside. Of course, since these were not the results that those "news" organizations were after, very little coverage was devoted to their findings. But here's a quote from USA Today, the group findings from USA Today, May 11th, 2001: "Who would have won if Al Gore had gotten manual recounts that he requested in four counties? Answer: George W. Bush. Who would have won if the U.S. Supreme Court had not stopped the hand recount of undervotes which are ballots that registered no machine-readable vote for president? Answer: Bush, under three of four standards. Who would have won if all disputed ballots, including those rejected by machines because they had more than one vote for president had been recounted by hand? Answer: Bush. Under the two most widely used standards, Gore under the two least used."

The idea that Gore won Florida in 2000 is a myth perpetuated by the liberal media in this country, and it seems that the French (GASP!) have bought it, hook, line, and sinker.
