Hot issue in 2019:
Why can't my game be installed or why can't my game run on Windows 7  ??
In 2019, if you are using Windows 7 there may be problems with installing and running the game.
Error Sign:
The game does not install or does not start, while in the Task Manager it contains NOLF2.exe and the process rundll32.exe
This problem is created by the Game Explorer program built into Windows 7.
This also applies to  NOLF2, Contract J.A.C.K.,  Far Cry, Max Payne   games…  many, many others ...  2072 games ... let's say our "thanks" to Microsoft Corporation (joke)
How to disable "Game Explorer" for Windows 7
You can disable “Game_Explorer” in any of these 2 ways, because all these methods are reversible (you can always return “as it was before”)
1. If you renamed the NOLF2.exe startup file to NOLF2_1.exe, then you disabled “Game_Explorer” only for game "NOLF2", so now "NOLF2", will work fine.
2. If you installed the program “Stop_Game_Explorer”, then you have completely disabled “Game_Explorer”, now all 2072 old games are working fine, including  "NOLF2",

There are two versions of the program in the archive: for 64bit and for 32bit (i.e., x86).
Warning: this program does not have viruses, but VirusTotal and Antiviruses very “dislike” this program because it works with system files.

This can be done without having to download a file. 

1. Click the Start orb, type in "appwiz.cpl" (not the quotes) and press [Enter].

2. In the window that comes up, click the "Turn Windows Features on or off" link on the left.

3. In the window that comes up, remove the check mark next to "Games" and click OK.

This problem has several solutions. I renamed NOLF2.exe to NOLF2_1.exe   ... It is fast, simple and reversible.

Absolutely 100% correct way to run the games  NOLF / NOLF2 / Contract JACK  on Windows 7  
Launch the game through the "Game Explorer" menu:
Start - Programs - Games - "Game Explorer" - Nolf icon in the "Game Explorer" - launch from the Administrator.
Warning !!   Previously, in the “Parameters” of “Game Explorer”, enable all options, allow auto-update of games and reboot.
