Spacko Posted July 23, 2005 Posted July 23, 2005 After more than two years of proudly Nolfing together, ST is closing its doors today. As the community has seen dropping activity, so have we. The amount of time and energy, passion and interest poured into clan life has been long shrinking and we've finally found ourselves at the crossroads of struggling or surrendering in style. Preferring the latter, we want to use this occasion to thank all those who have made Your Son’s creation not only possible, but a warm, welcoming and whoop-azz clan. It hasn’t always been a smooth ride, but through it all we have tried to keep our standards high. If we have, we owe much of it to Your Father’s strong hand these two years: Never afraid to make the hard decisions and stick to them, and always loyal to his own. Without the member mass itself there would be no ST, and ours has been amazing! So diverse - but still unified, humorous - and yet serious, skilled gamers - in addition to being caring human beings. This leadership could just not have asked for more or better members than you. We wish you all the best of luck with your futures both online and offline, and thank you for gracing ST with your good names. Finally our gratitude to Nolfers everywhere and all the other clans for the good times you’ve given us. It’s undeniable that accepting the end of this two year enterprise many of us have been with right from the beginning is painful. Garth Brooks, in a track called “The Dance”, sums the feeling up well: “I could have missed the pain But I’d have had to miss the dance” Bad as it feels to let go, this particular dance has been a source of good memories, fun times and true friendship for us and certainly we will all think back to our ST days with a smile. Now it's time to get out there and dance to our own rhythms – although most, if not all of us, will still be on MSN, will still Nolf, will still offer up our drama services on a forum near you, and will still be part of this very special community. Thanks for the ride, everyone. On behalf of the ST leadership, Spacko/Mari and Caip/Sascha
Eliteone Posted July 23, 2005 Posted July 23, 2005 Sorry to hear that ST SFI is here for the players and you are welcome to continue to hang out here and our forum to hang out with fellow nolfers. It's been a pleasure to have had ST as collegues in the Nolf world.
Factor Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 wow, this is quite a shock. I (as suprising as it sounds) am saddened by this, you guys have always been a great clan with great members, and u had some great leaders who knew exactly how to lead a strong clan. the drop-out of the 5 or so members must have taken a toll on the clan, especially in this dying community. I am sorry that you guys couldnt last. You will be remembered for your Great Leaders, Amazing Members, and The Fun Times we have had. You guys are all great people, just remember, nolf made you, so dony leave it
