NiteSnipe Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 hmmm... now I typed in hte cd key off of my Jewel Case and I know it is correct... but it says its invalid?! and then when i try to retype it this happens and sends me back to the main menu.... wtf? Quote
Nova™ Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 *Rubs chin* hmmm... I think I get that when my Internet goes off when I'm playing Nolf2. Maybe something is up w/ your internet connection? You have the version 1.3 on your screen? (It's to the bottom right of your screen) Quote
Factor Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 the problem is most likely with your internet connection. it does that when the master server is down, and when it cant connect. meaning something is up with your connection i think, not 100% sure though. Quote
NiteSnipe Posted June 10, 2005 Author Posted June 10, 2005 Yeh its 1.3... and my connection is Cable... it has never acted up before.. i doubt it. Quote
NiteSnipe Posted June 11, 2005 Author Posted June 11, 2005 http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b334/Rya.../nolf2error.jpg This is what happens when I try to join through NOLF2. It either says that, or invalid CD key (which is wrong because the jewel case is in front of me and I know it is right) So I try to join through gamespy arcade, and it says Invalid CD key. I then try to check the CD key, and it is gone... does it not appear through gamespy? can you ever join through gamespy? does anyone know wtf is wrong with this? It is really pissing me off. Quote
Eliteone Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 that error looks like your Nolf 2 isn't communicating to the master server correctly to validate your version. I'll research it for you and see what I come up with for you. Quote
NiteSnipe Posted June 16, 2005 Author Posted June 16, 2005 BUMP this still has not been fixed and would really appreciate if anyone who had an idea would let me know or not (really really pissing me off [the error]) Quote
Scorpio Posted June 16, 2005 Posted June 16, 2005 mayb some workers damaged it firewall mayb? or u could try copying the entire nolf2 map from someone else and then try again Quote
NiteSnipe Posted June 16, 2005 Author Posted June 16, 2005 I disabled my firewall and tried it, still didnt work. Quote
Eliteone Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 I moved this here as it's a tech issue Software or hardware firewall? Also are you running XP SP2 ? Ifso make sure it's firewall is turned off if you have another Firewall running. Quote
NiteSnipe Posted June 17, 2005 Author Posted June 17, 2005 software firewall and that was turned off, i have XP pro.. i dont think i have a firewall from them Quote
Eliteone Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 XP Pro Service pack 2 enabled the windows firewall by default. I've been hearing other others having this issue to. It may be a master server issue also. Quote
