I saw this in Popular Science and then looked it up online to share here.

 

Apparently Dr. Schenker now works at E.P. Industries in El Segundo, California.

The article in the published (paper) version of Popular Science includes a nice cross-section view. It has a strong resemblance to the drawings in UNITY Headquarters.

Hehe it's good to know that this old cold war technology serves a good and pacific cause now... But how will they recycle the angry kitty??? laugh.gif

 

BTW this topic has been MOVED from NOLF2 general to Tech section??? In fact I was about to suggest to move it to NOLF2 general 1eye.gif What sort of computer-related or pure techy problem does this thread solve? unsure.gif
