Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have announced today that their newest fighting game, Dead or Alive 6, will be releasing on February 15. A new trailer released to announce the date shows some returning characters as scenes from the game's story mode, as well.

The trailer shows returning characters Ayane, Marie Rose, and Honoka, who will be joining the game's base roster. Nyotengu and Phase 4 will be DLC, with the former being a pre-order bonus and the latter being in the game's special edition. It is unknown if they will be added to the game as separate purchases, as well.

The trailer also shows the game's story mode, which looks to be fairly similar to Dead or Alive 5's, which the director commented to us was "very hard to understand," so it seems likely it will undergo some structural changes.

Dead or Alive 6 releases on February 15 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
