Eliteone Posted June 18, 2011 Share Posted June 18, 2011 On the server (or player.txt) change the number of players to 8 [Cooperative] MaxPlayers = 8 change from 4 players CampaignName = ".default" MPDifficulty = 1 FriendlyFire = TRUE UseSkills = TRUE SessionName = "" MPPlayerDiffFactor = 0.100000f If you want to play the single player missions in Co-Op follow the steps below and download the file I've attached to this post. rename your existing COOPMISSIONS.TXT to something else (like regCOOPMISSIONS.TXT) download the attached spCOOPMISSIONS.TXT (rename it to COOPMISSIONS.TXT) put it into your nolf 2 folder. The open your default_campaign.txt file and make sure the mission numbers match with the SP missions you want to play. Triggerhappy Posted June 28, 2011 Share Posted June 28, 2011 Hey Elite, so I did all of the following and got my server to run but like Fzy I didn't have the coopmissions.txt originally so I made the one from the code you gave above and put it in my NOLF2 root folder as directed and still when I run my server it runs the original default coop campaigns and not the SP missions. I thought the problem was from the default_campaign.txt but the only one I have is in the DD campaign folder in the profile folder which is for DD but I don't see one for coop so am I missing a file or what? Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Fox\No One Lives Forever 2\Profiles\Player\Campaigns Or if you are 32 bit C:\Program Files\Fox\No One Lives Forever 2\Profiles\Player\Campaigns If you don't have the Campaign folder create it in the path above. Make a file in notepad called default_campaign.txt with the info below and place it in the Campaigns folder. The Player folder could be called something else if you've made more than one profile for NOLF2. Use that name instead if that is the case creating the Campaign folder etc like above. URA Posted June 30, 2011 Share Posted June 30, 2011 As far as I know, CoopMissions.txt really belongs in a .rez's Attributes folder. As for the "Error - This config file has no maps selected." message, did you setup the coop server from NOLF2's Internet/LAN menu? Also you can try my LivesForeverPlus mod, it includes all the regular & SP missions for coop, you just need to select the SP missions from internet/LAN > Coop > Host options > Campaign > Missions. I noticed you don't have a games folder like I do (I can run a Co-Op game just fine) Sorry it's been awhile since I've run a non-dedicated Co-Op server but URA is right the Coopsmission.txt is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Fox\No One Lives Forever 2\Game\ATTRIBUTES or for 32 bit C:\Program Files \Fox\No One Lives Forever 2\Game\ATTRIBUTES I think it's installed with the NOLF2 source files.
