Curver Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 (edited) Hello! i found out that i wanted to take out nolf2 from the dust. But when i try to go into a server it says: "ERROR - Unable to join the selected game session" Nolf 2 is starting with a mod called "LivesForever" I try to start the game with "Join_by_IP" Does it matter where it is placed? I have only tryed to join SFI servers. LivesForever is placed in this folder, is it right?: "......No One Lives Forever 2\Custom\Mods\LivesForever" Inside that folder it is LivesForever.rez file on 4917kb Do anyone need a SS of the problem? If so i get it Windows XP sp2 btw. Have a nice summer! PS: Instead of answer this post, get out in the sun! Curver Edited June 29, 2009 by Curver Quote

Rocky Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Hello Curver Old version show SFI servers and SFI is gone. NOLF2 community unityhq.net works, it use livesforever mod. why there is so many who knows. New join by dont show sfi DM server. because it is not there. First start nolf2 choose livesforever mod and click play and then read v1.3 - livesforever on screen. now you have activated mod. then end game and start new version join by ip tool and choose NOLF2 community unityhq.net server .(you can choose which one) That works for me. SAssER Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 It doesn't matter wich version of the Join by IP tool you use. You just have to make sure you set the download URL of the old version to http://sficlan.net/nolf2servers/tmp for the latest list of servers. I don't know why it shows up the servers so many times, but that's definitely not a problem of the tool itself but a problem with the .txt files it downloads in the background (or rather with the servers themselfs?) I can't do anything about it, Eliteone has to check this... ^^ Quote

To answer the question about other servers: Unfortunately the only full time server left is the UnityHQ one. I can get others hosted but that would require additional support from the NOLF2 community. Quote
