NOLF2 Madness!

So I'm posting this video kind of as a response to NS's video to show what I mean when I said the "comical" aspects of NOLF2 that should be shown instead of complete seriousness and non-stop pwnage.

This video actually was taken February 14th, 2008 and was for my own entertainment purposes only but I feel now that it is a perfect example of what I adore about NOLF2 and just what kind of weird and craziness can happen when you stay up late and play NOLF2.

Again, this is just for entertainment obviously and not really meant as an advertisement for NOLF2 although I do hope that it catches some people's attention online who don't know what NOLF2 is.

(No download required BTW)

lol, ur voice trough the video.

Why should we show new people how it is to run like roadrunner trough a level, have instant weapon respawn and jump as high as the eiffel tower, when it's not the settings in any server? Btw, you used a mod too with those swords and that mod is never on! That sword gets annoying as enemy, the PC won't cry about it but real player will ^^ . and btw, we set some players on fire in the video and used snowmo's :)

Well just because I was playing the mod doesn't mean that people will expect to see the exact same thing if they play. I just have to ask about the sword thing though...who cries about the sword being "annoying" again? If no one uses the mod, who's crying? How would that make them a "real" player as well? Just wondering.

By the way, my point was to show humor in the video, not the ModX1. Just because you guys had fire and snowmobiles doesn't make it comical or entertaining for that matter. I'm not saying that my video was hilarious or anything spectacular, but it wasn't a serious video about just another first person shooter game that you can kill people in.

Thanks for the reply though, and despite my criticisms you guys made a good video and I can tell that some work was put into it. I just though it needed...more. That's all.

The game music or the music in your video?

Oh yes, because why would anyone play a game for FUN. I realize some of you youngsters these days only care about getting top scores in those memorized maps and disabled phos and rocket servers, but news flash this game is NOLF2, a goofy spy game. If you're trying to take the game seriously, you're really missing out on the extras.

and with thoose weapons and mod its looks so final fantasy out...

final fantasy? Never played it, so I wouldn't know but what I've seen looks very different.

lol attention span of a squirrel?

Again you miss my point. This video isn't a promotion video and was never meant to be. I made this for fun. I'm saying that the comical aspects of it are what I'm talking about when I say what you should add "more" in your video. If I were going to make a video to promote NOLF2, I would have a lot of different things in it other than me just goofing around in co-op. I would show the whole range of NOLF2 elements that make it such a great game.

Thanks for your comment by the way.

Well I liked your wee video Triggerhappy :)

It shows the fun in coop and the single player maps.

Our video was all about NS and the dd scene but this one highlights the relaxed nature and fun of coop. I often think that coop is so overlooked in the Nolf community. But that is the place where the fun is so consistent maybe because of the lack of pressure and competition. :guitar:

Ohh and I enjoy so much playing with mods in coop. It was funny seeing the ones you had there! :D

:) Cel

Sooooo maybe I'm just a little slow, but does ModX1 allow you to play the standard single player NOLF2 campaign in co-op mode? I have never seen anyone play co-op with more than those extra four silly co-op missions before.

Funny video, Trig! :new_2gunsfiring_v1:

Right you are sir. Not only can you play through all of the single player missions (although some are more problematic than others) the ModX1 has altered weapons as I'm sure you noticed. Also, it allows you to play as many characters that are not available in the unmodified version. Some of them aren't animated when you play them in the game, but it's still pretty cool anyhow. If you haven't tried it out yet, I recommend you do.
