hosting behind router help

i no i probly sound like a complete noob but ive forwarded the ports i need and still the ping of my server is 65535. i connected directly and it worked so its not my xp firewall. so i was wondering if anyone could help me? thanks

I believe that's normal when you are hosting from a home computer. I had that same problem way back. You'll find when you actually enter the server, you will have a normal ping. Hope this helps.

If you r hosting a dedicated server and u want to join u have to join yuor serrver through local multiplayer in nolf 2 menu. Hope this helps. :):D

it's actually not the xp firewall that matters, you have to unlock the ports in the firewall of your router ;)

Make sure to have exactly those ports unlocked that u have defined in your serversetup (default is : 27888, but you can also put there any other number between 1 and 65000-something except a few exceptions)

just make sure you have that special port unlocked that u are using (both for udp and tcp)
