Which of these looks you think M looks the best with? Remember, this is just a selection of her looks, I picked out 15. Madonna had waaayyy more looks, even blue hair. Clearly you feel free to diss her styles, but world fashion the last 20 years says you are just wrong. Granted I would never wear any of those outfits, but I do admire Madonnas fantastic reinvention of herself - she never stagnates, is never full, never says enough is enough. What you see as tacky, I see as bold every step of the way. Madonna is truly someone to look up to in my book: Self-confident, strong, liberated, a tough business woman, gifted artist and now also wife and mother. Oh and I kinda like the 1989 look. My favorite phase of Madonna's continuous evolution is probably the video for 'This Used To Be My Playground' for the film 'A League Of Their Own'. I loved the fact that Madonna could play a wise-cracking baseball player with a naughty streak (which was obviously Madonna poking fun at her not-so-distant past)--and then shoot a video where she's the epitome of sophistication and beauty. The video, in and of itself, showed just how large Madonna's repertoire was. She could be all of these people at the same time and it was still sincere. She could be 'Mae Mordabito' and Madonna at the same time. The dichotomy of 'Mae' and the Madonna we were used to were represented at the same time, which I thought spoke volumes of Madonna's artistry. I thought that I'd also add that I'm a big fan of this particular scenario-when a singer acts in a movie and then does one or several songs for the soundtrack. It ties music in with the movie which makes it all the more powerful. I have no problem with musicians in acting roles if they're good. She plays in many movies (even though they almost all suck), writes books etc... She has always n1 tours and has a nice website. She is a mum and still she gets big hits. Her albums get often good reviews and her music is always new. She re-invents herself over and over again and I think she is pretty clever. She writes most of her songs and has a good voice. She sings most of the times live. But I just hate her music. It surprises me how her singles keep hitting the top 10. I think her music is a bit overrated, I mean, look at these positions, this is crazy, she keeps hitting the n1 spot with, I think, crappy songs. Or I have a bad taste. This is the world chart, based on votes, single sales mp3 downloads etc...: Music: 12 weeks n1 WTF?! But I thought that the singles were quite sexual! The titel track had a very shocking video clip I remember. I'm not sure if Justofy My Love was also from Erotica. It was about sex and the video was banned I remember. I don't remember any other singles from Erotica because they weren't a succes. The only single I still know is Rain, it's one of the few singles of Madonna I really like: Rain, feel it on my fingertips, hear it on the window... I don't have any CD's of Madge, except the Immaculate Collection, beause it is a legendary album. Maybe I'll buy her second greatest hits album too. Is it true she is making a new album? I heard it on the radio. By the way, Britney won't be comapred to Madonna anymore. She is pregnant and will stop making music for at least 2 years. And after that she won't work that hard anymore. Already pregnant when you are 23??? Now Britneys dumbness will be her death in the musicbusiness. Since 1997 she looks great, that picture of 1998 is really bad. She looks like a ghost there. And yes, madonna is making a new album, it's almost finished...but she waits till September before releasing it. She looked when other singers didn't release a single, and that was especially in September. Again a smart move or Ms Ciccone. One track of the album is already known, 'I love New York.' In 1992 she had about 12 looks, and I loved them all. She looked bad but sweet at the same time. I can't post some pictures where she looks bad because it's against the forum rules. Here are some of my favourite examples: With her gold tooth. OMG that hair, gorgeous! So sweet, but this photoshoot was very dirty. This is one of the innocent pics. Madonna, a women with class.
