Can't download game files.

Recommended Posts

Seems like bigger files aren't downloadable.

For example, when I try to download CJ zip files:
First zip file is 647 MB but when it reaches 200 MB, download is breaking from server. Tried different devices but no luck.

Also, NOLF1 and NOLF2 iso and zip files aren't downloadable right now.

Is there any way to download from this site ?

Not only CJ, I also have problems with NOLF1 and NOLF2 zip, iso files...
Our community far safer than torrents when it comes to downloading i think.

Both CJ files just download for me just fine on two different computers.

You may need to check with your ISP or even you anti-virus or internet security suite programs to see if they are interfering with downloading larger files.

We are https: here so our connections are secure etc.

I tried on Windows 10 64 Bit Creator's Update 1703 via Eagle Get program --> no luck.

Tried Win. Vista Laptop without downloader. --> when file reaches 200 MB, download is broking unfortunately.

Same problem with Android 6.0.1 mobile phone.

I don't know why I can't download files bigger than 200 MB from here.

Other websites, Steam etc. works flawlessly.

Not sure what "Eagle Get" is however I downloaded them first with Chrome and just now Firefox just fine.  As these zip files contain the installer exe file your anti-virus may be stopping it.

On desktop PC, I'm using Windows Defender.

On Laptop --> it is very slow machine. I'm using it with safe mode via network access. So, no antivirus.

Mobile --> Who uses antivirus on phones? :)

Can you download the file completely ? Are you sure ?
Thanks for support.

Are you using the browser to download? If so which one and it's version?

On mobile phone --> Latest Opera browser.

On Vista Laptop --> Old Chrome. Because Google doesn't support Vista.

On Win 10 PC --> Latest version of Chrome. Maybe I must try without downloader programs after 24 hours. I'm blocked for downloading today. :)

Downloader programs aren't require to download from here. Your browser should be able to download it just fine without them.

I will try tomorrow with Chrome itself and share the result from here. ;)

I tried few minutes ago.

Contract Jack CJDisc 2. zip downloaded. No problem.

But CJDisc1 download is broken when it reached 384 Megabytes.  :(

Winrar says the archive is corrupted/ unidentified for Disc 1.

(Win 10 64 bit PC, Latest version of Chrome. No downloader program.)

Just downloaded disc 1 again on Chrome and extracted it without any issues.

You shouldn't need winrar with windows 10 simply use the windows extract all function.

The real problem is, my all devices can not download the file properly.

File is 647 MB but the most MB I can achieve is 384 MB.

I'm at a loss at to why you are having the issue.  There has been over 200 successful downloads of that particular file.

I tried it from Starbucks Wi-Fi a bit ago and it worked there too.

Yes but the website also counted my broken downloads. :(

Different devices, different browsers, different OS, even mobile phone... problem is the same. Probably it isn't a device issue.

If you can download files than website also shouldn't have a problem.

Probably my internet connection is not compatible with the forum somehow...

I would contact your ISP and see if they are throttling your download speeds. It sounds like the downloads are timing out for you.

Tried another file but couldn't download again. (NGotydisc2.iso)
Download broke at 381 MB.

I'll check modem settings. Contact with my ISP, try DNS+ VPN method.

Since they seem to be stopping for you at the same place I'd check connections etc. I tried that goty file too and had no problems downloading it either.

Are you running anything else that could impact bandwidth during the download?

I tried another 670 MB file from another website. No problem!

My ISP and "The site that shall not be named.net" have a problem between them. Really weird. :)

As I said before, I'll try with mobile ISP today.

Still at a loss why. Our downloads are all going through SSL which makes them secure from tampering etc. Are you using any kind of firewall? Have you checked your settings there?

Why are you using a VPN?

Doesn't require a VPN connection to download it.

Seems you are trying to download in a non-standard way. Since the downloads here are https it's possible that your VPN is even slowing them down more which can cause time out issues.

Being the NOLF 2 CD files have had over 1600 successful downloads from users I am confident it isn't on our end here at UHQ.

I'm not using VPN, DNS etc. for normal times. I just tried them if they can solve the problem or not. Because I couldn't download files in a standard way.
