Retro Gaming M.A.M.E

1 post in this topic

I built this custom Mame cabinet out of two sets of old draws and some parts from an old Toy story child's bed. The only thing the cost me anything was the joystick and buttons kit which was around 25$.
I decided to customise the cabinet with a Star wars theme. The Lightsaber and Storm trooper buttons work and light up the banner. With 400 + of the best rom's ready to go the man cave is looking sweet. All I need next is a light gun for house of the dead ect. It's kinda satisfying making this out of old of junk lying around. The Sony monitor has been in the loft for years and is perfect with its 5:3 ratio for arcade games. A fairly decent laptop with a core i3 powers the display and has no trouble running all Mame rom's. The whole thing is on wheels making ti easy to move. This also saved me a few trip's to the tip :). We made the Neon amusement sign and mini arcade for our kids too:). Share your Mame cabs here and if anyone needs any help with Mame fire me a pm. Cheers,
