Oh, did you know that Call of Duty 3 isn't being done by Infinity Ward? I'm afraid Activision is trying to milk the franchise. Hopefully it will be a good game. Call of Duty came out on PC first, how can you shut the pc down with that? Plus I personaly think that PC is the father of shooting games, its more accurate on pc and easier. I'm pissed too. Gaming (especialy next genneration) consoles also have alot of hardware goodies that you can't afford for pc, or maybe you can, but you will spend 6 to 7 times more. Also there are some games are more comptible playing on console like fighting games, racing games, GTA games. Oh yeah, seeman if your looking for a console that can be connected to the Internet then, you should go for xbox or xbox 360. Only those console can be connected to the Internet, and its called xbox live. Not only you can play games online but, you can play the worldwide with millions of people. Yes, that also includes MP, mods, chat, demos, patches, and other good stuff. You can even have your own market, for example; you create a mod, or a map; you can get some money for that by selling those on xbox live. Btw how do you know my connection? The only thing u can do on them is play games which, as a purpose, seems strange to me. Besides any console games that i know are crap. The controlings devices are also crap (i don't know, perhaps now they do have a mouse...). Why not just buy PC? U can mod ur games there, etc... Btw Is there MP on consoles? Consoles "just work". They let you play games without all the headaches you have with PCs. Also, they historically have been cheaper than PCs. Add to that the fact consoles are usually in the living room with the family TV and you have a more social experience. Yes, there is multiplayer games on consoles. 1Nightmare1 Posted October 1, 2006 Author Share Posted October 1, 2006 Note: thers not too many good fighting games on pc, like I said every console has their unique tittles/games like halo, dead or alive, metal gear solid, zelda, and many more. Plus xbox live is very unique thers more too it than I stated, like the voice chatting on any game that is avaible online, rankings, downloadible goodies, tournaments, if you lucky enough you can even play with celebs. Plus consoles are practicaly cheaper camparing to a good gaming pc, and the games on it always match you don't need to buy extra software, unlike in pc; thers always upgrades and games that have different requirments but, consoles don't have strategy games like pc doesn and it has more rpg games.
