Malibu Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 I saw Match Point with my wife this weekend. We both liked it a lot. I went into movie knowing nothing about what subject was other than it was latest Woody Allen film - I think that was a good move. This is one movie that reviews give way too much away on. Quote
{GD}Independent Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 Do you have to be a Woody Allen fan to enjoy it? Quote
Malibu Posted February 14, 2006 Author Posted February 14, 2006 Not at all. It isn't a comedy. Did you ever see movie Closer? Quote
Spacko Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 I did, but found it kinda absurd in its glossy cruelness. I've been thinking about watching Match Point, and if it's like Closer, only a slightly more realistic storyline, I'm all for it! Quote
Malibu Posted February 15, 2006 Author Posted February 15, 2006 I know what you mean about the cruelness in Closer. You might like Match Point then. And it certainly doesn't have that excessively raw language. Quote
