Eliteone Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 It's too bad for Michelle Kwan that she had to remove herself from the US Team. Odds are this will be her last Olympic appearance and now due to injury she had to withdraw. Quote

[FF5]Knix Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Take that Norway! http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/olym...g.ap/index.html I am totally kidding about this, as I could give a rats 'donkey' about Ice Shuffleboard. I did get to watch the US women's hockey game. Never realised how well women can play the game. I would totally watch this over women's basketball. http://nbcolympics.doubleclick.net/adx/oly...;ord=870229.asx Don't know if the link will work, but the last goal was pretty sweet. Quote
Spacko Posted February 13, 2006 Author Posted February 13, 2006 Well we're reigning champions in curling, so I kinda do give a rat's donkey, but we shall return with more vigour! Must say I'm happy about our medal count for these games, though the gold isn't exactly pouring in. Quote

Factor Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 lol, moody, how many times have i told u... canada is gonna stomp the hockey games... dont get your hopes up...sweden MIGHT pull off a bronze in hockey... as for anything to do with snowboarding.. U.S. has a crazy breed of kids...we have the most amazing guy and girl snowboarders out there... its cuz most of them, their parents take them up to go snowboarding for the first time at like...8 years old, and then they start doing jumps and everything at about 11 or 12...and then by the time they are 16 or 17...they are the best in the world...
