  1. Thanks for this new mod Ura :) Should it be working allready? If so, it doesn't detect any server on my PC. I see the V1.3 Livesforeverplus 2009 on my start-up screen and I tried downloading serverlist from SFI in-game, but no server is found. Do I have a problem again or are you still working on it?

  2. Make it like this "C:\Program Files\Fox\No One Lives Forever 2\NOLF2.exe" -mod LivesForever

That will force the mod to load when you click the shortcut.

That doesnt work either :( It still loads retail when I use join-by-ip

When I start-up NOLF2 itself it does load the LivesForever-mod. It's a weird situation he?

  3. C:\Program Files\Fox\No One Lives Forever 2\Custom\Mods you have a LivesForever folder correct?

and inside that folder you have a LivesForever.rez file (it is case sensitive)?

Another way you could "force the mod" would be to add it too your NOLF2 desktop shortcut's properties.

add this -mod LivesForever after the nolf2.exe line in the shortcut.

The rez in the folder is LivesForever.rez ; So that should be ok

This is the desktop shortcut properties: "C:\Program Files\Fox\No One Lives Forever 2\NOLF2.exe"

Should I make it like this: "C:\Program Files\Fox\No One Lives Forever 2\NOLF2.exe-mod LivesForever" ?

It can't be changed like this...

  4. If you pull out all the mods but the LivesForever mod and then check it in the custom box when you start up NOLF 2 does it then run?

Ok Deleted all other mods. When I look at custom box I still see exp-fix but it aint in my modsfolder anymore

Could there be a problem coz of that?

The LivesForever-mod is checked allready. When I start up NOLF I can see at the screen that the mod is activated.

But when I run join-by-ip it won't work; Error: Invalid CD-key

  5. How many custom maps do you have? Look in the C:\Program Files\Fox\No One Lives Forever 2\Custom\Resources folder.

If you have alot then I'd suggest pulling them out one at a time to see if one of them are causing the issue.

PC of my kids still have the same problem :(

They also have Vista SP1 and there is only 1 mappack.rez in custom resources-folder.

They can't join via join-by-ip; it says: invalid CD-key

I hope that there will be a solution in the future

  6. Hi Linda... you need to activate the LivesForever mod first.

Start the NOLF2 launcher (not JoinByIP tool but NOLF2.exe), click custom, activate LivesForever mod, click OK then click Play.

Now the screen should say LivesForever... exit the game and now you are ready to use the JoinByIP tool!

    Good luck :]

    Hi Sasser :) ,

I did activate the Livesforevermod and the screen did say Livesforever, but when I use join-by-ip-tool I get message invalid CD-key and screen says Retail :(

I checked and double-checked everything but no luck..

  7. Hi all,

Join-by-IP works fine on our XP-PC but it doesnt work on the Vista-PC

We did everything the same way but no succes.

When we startup NOLF2 via Join-by-IP it gives the 'Invalid-CD-Key'-message and screen says Retail-version instead of LIvesForever.

Are there any suggestions of what to do?

    There is only 1 map-rez in resources-map and 7 mods in mods-map.
