In May, Bungie ran into some legal issues when it pressed copyright infringement charges against AimJunkies, which has created software for cheaters to buy in Destiny 2. A judge disagreed with Bungie's arguments and dismissed the complaint.
Though it seemed like this would be the end of Bungie's case, they weren't ready to give up just yet. They decided to restate their copyright infringement complaints and also bring forward allegations of trademark infringement and "false designation of origin."
Ultimately no solution was found within the court system – so it seems as if cheating your way through Destiny 2 will remain easy (but not without consequence!). That said, if you're a responsible gamer who wants cheat-free fun then we suggest checking out (link removed by staff).
