  1. The above worked for me using this command line in addition: +screenwidth 1440 +screenheight 900 +fovx 100 +fovy 75 +pvmodelaspect Ratio +fovxinterface 100 +fovyinterface 75 ::EDIT:: Spoke too soon. It works, but the gun models don't show. Dang it!
  2. Just tried it too, but it still crashes. It doesn't work.
  3. So, this doesn't seem to work as mentioned here: http://www.wsgf.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=20026&p=171278
  4. Yeah, I don't know why the DD server crashes when trying to connect. Hmm, I'll take a look at a few things. Does anyone actually use Qtracker to find NOLF2 servers? By the way, you could just patch the server binary using this utility I wrote instead of messing with the hosts file if it should ping Qtracker's master server: http://www.qtracker.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4377 But, I wasn't able to find those nolf2 entries in any of the executables using my method. Where did you pull those gamespy host names from? Which executable or dll has those actual entries? Has anyone successfully run a DD server using the LivesForeverPlus mod? It seems there were some issues as discussed here? http://unityhq.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=2195 ::EDIT:: I got it to work by running the server in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3 I missed that part of your instructions. How come I don't have to do that for any of the other game types? DD will not work until the server binary is run this way. Can you connect to it now?
  5. Thanks, the ports are fine. I see the server. When I connect up to it though, it crashes. Can you get into the server without your client crashing? It's just the DD server that does it.
  6. Hi Guys, I've got a COOP and DM server running without issues, but I'm trying to get a Doomsday server up. The Doomsday server appears to be running fine, but when I try to join the server, my game crashes. So, I tried hosting one locally from my gaming PC, and it did the same thing. Is there anything special that needs to be done to get this to work? All the server shows is this: New client, id 0, for a total of 1. No Team start point for team (255)! Removing client, id 0, leaving 0. Here are my doomsday server settings: [Doomsday] MaxPlayers = 16 TimeLimit = 20 TagScore = 1 Team1Model = 8 ReviveScore = 1 PieceRemovedScore = 2 NumTeams = 2 Team0Name = "Blue" CampaignName = ".default" Rounds = 1 DeviceCompletedScore = 10 Team1Name = "Red" HeavyPiecePlacedScore = 5 FriendlyFire = TRUE SessionName = "OwN-3m-All's Doomsday" RunSpeed = 130 FragScore = 2 LightPiecePlacedScore = 3 Team0Model = 0 My NOLF 2 game has the 1.3 patch installed with the map packs and the livesforeverplus mod. Any idea?
  7. I tried that, but it doesn't work. Only the first launched server works. If you launch Nolf2Svr.exe from a different directory and different settings, players are unable to join the server? Maybe it's a LivesForeverPlus issue? I'll try a few more things... Do you have any other suggestions?
  8. Hey All, I'm looking into playing this game again, and I'm trying to setup multiple dedicated NOLF2 servers on the same server box. However, it seems that only one server works even though I've given the other servers different ports and different directories. The first server I run works and people are able to connect to it, but the next server I run, when I try to join it says that it is unable to join. However, the JoinByIP tool shows both servers, but only the first one run works properly. The game shows only my co-op server as online. Does anyone have experience running multiple NOLF2 servers on the same box? Can you specify which IP address and port a NOLF 2 server binds to via the commandline? Is there anything special I need to do? I am already running the Lives Forever Plus mod.
  9. The models don't need to change (after all, did they change in NOLF 2?). I love all those enemies sent at you at the same time. It makes it more challenging and fun.
  10. After playing Contract Jack, I'd have to say that it is indeed an improvement over NOLF 2. For example, the gun sounds are so much more appropriate than the ones found in NOLF 2. Not only are the sounds better, but the story is more fun than the one in NOLF 2, and it constantly changes. I think they did a great job bringing back some of the old weapons as well as adding new weapons, vehicles, and enemies. Ok, it's short, but isn't it fun? I'm more addicted to this game than I was to NOLF 2. Why do most nolf fans not like it? Is it because it doesn't star Cate? It really doesn't matter who it stars because while you're playing, you don't see their body anyway... So, please tell me why you hate this game.
  11. Actually, which single player maps crash so that I don't run them.
  12. Doesn't look like it's that hard! LOL! Awesome. Thanks guys! And yes, that was a fun match suglylinni!
  13. Does anyone know how to add single player maps to co-op? I'd really appreciate it if someone would tell me how. Also, since there are no guides out on the net that tell you how to do it, I could always post how to do it on my www.uhost4free.com (home page being redesigned soon) website and give you credit. Please let me know. ~ Thanks
  14. Crap! I'll have to fix that. I didn't notice that!!!! Urg! Thanks for the say command tip; I'll fix that screenshot too. Didn't know about it.
