He mentioned that he was using the default settings. Usually, the default sound input/output settings don't work well. They have to be adjusted for teamspeak to activate your voice transmission. I think this is the problem. Sliding the bar to the left, or toward "whisper" makes your activation more sensitive, where all it would take would be a whisper to activate it. If he's reading an english version of the TS program, he may not know what this means if he doesn't speak english.

I feel so IQish right about now...

the link is bad. Last time I tried to send registration info for nolf2, I was redirected to The Matrix Online registration. I wouldn't worry about registering it anyways, as all it does is create spam in your inbox.

lmao! I can never remember that command!

an itty bitty bit off topic here:
gamespy allows you to join locked servers for nolf1. This only applies for v1.004.

Does anyone ever watch G4 (gaming television)? There's an advertisement for "EB Games" where you can trade in old games and dvds for cash to buy new games. In the commercial, the dude hands over a stack of dvds to the cashier to trade, and on top of the pile is a copy of Episode III. I was wondering how the *^*% did he get his hands on that, and why the *^*% would he get rid of THAT movie?!

I've always had loads of fun with the speargun or Hampton Carbine as the default. You never see servers with these set as default.

am I thinking of another game? I thought there was a sewer to the left of the gate you had to go in, and it took you to a grate in the floor of the compound.

ha, let's see it happen!

interesting!

actually, you may want to contact =FI=Muerte on his forum. He scripted the program to do this originally. When I found out about it, I asked him if he would be willing to share the program, but at that time, he wasn't. I don't know if things have changed since then, but it couldn't hurt you to ask.

I'm still feeling the pinch from it, mel.

make sure you are looking for v1.004 servers, and make sure you are running 1.004 yourself. this can be done by looking in the bottom right side of your screen when the main menu loads. If this isn't the case, make sure that lithtech.exe is not being blocked by your firewall, and if THAT isn't the case, then maybe someone else here will have another suggestion.

Yeah, I think canada has the same issues.

this should be a call for all nations to embrace clean energy, and bankrupt those countries who harbor and promote such activities. Taking the fight there won't do any good. The only way to fight this is to hit them where it really hurts.... their wallets.

My thoughts and prayers go out to those affected.

I doubt that. It sounds like you are sending feedback through your mic. It's adviseable to only use headphones when using teamspeak. I don't know if that's the problem or not, but I hope that helps.

in the console, type "ipdebug 1" which turns on IP display. It has very limited useability. You have to watch the client list to see what name pops up. It may be a good idea to keep a .txt log of it. Just remember that a lot of people have dynamic IPs, so those folks will have a different IP every time they join. (note that this is for the nolf1 dedicated server)

Thanks spazz! I was invited to do this by genesis, but I decided I would not be able to represent any clan very well, simply because I don't play anymore. It would just be a waste of administrative time for anyone in charge of me to have to add me to lists, keep up with me, and simply encourage me to join a server once in a while. I do appreciate all who have shown interest in me. It makes me feel good! This is why I'm sticking around. All you guys are good company!

Good to see you trying things out, CC! You have a bit to learn about how things work, but you've come to the right place to do it.

I do believe I'll reinstall nolf2 just for this occasion!
