To those of you who donate regulary... thank you so very much!
To those of you who don't... would you mind helping out a little bit now and then? I realize this is an old game and many of you play it only occassionally but just imagine how much it would be missed if it wasn't available to play anymore? Eliteone and I have been putting money into this website and the servers for quite a few years now. Every single month. I don't even want to think about how much we have invested in total, all for a 'game'. For me, it's worth it to be able to play a couple Sunday's a month and meet up with old friends again. How much are the NOLF2 servers, this forum and downloads section worth to you?

The good news is... those that play the game now wouldn't even think of cheating so it isn't really a concern anymore. If any of us lowered ourselved to cheating we'd be crucified right quick.

It's around Christmas time so people will be getting new games to play. My son and husband are already addicted to the latest Assasins Creed and Madden whatever number it is now, on PS3 and Xbox. I'm still a PC only gamer. About all I play now aside from NOLF2 on the weekends is Guild Wars 2. If anyone else plays go ahead and contact me there as Lauren Belladonna.

Wow, it's been so long since I played that map. There is no way to get into the fish tank normally. I believe it was some kind of a glitch that had to do with standing beside the window and getting blown into the tank using the suitcase or something? Not sure, I never did it myself.

Such heartbreaking news. Natter was the best of us, the heart of NOLF2, if you will. He always had a kind word to say and was able to make me smile each time we met in the server. His absence will be felt deeply.
Thank you for letting us know, Moonie. If you can, please let his family know how much we all cared about him. Although the majority of us only knew him while playing an online game we forged a genuine bond of friendship with him, mostly due to his unique positive attitude. We were so blessed to have known him even if it was for much too short a time.
God, Nat, I'll miss you.

I don't really understand what a DDOS attack is nor the consequences but if you can tell us how much you're going to be billed because of it I'm sure we can all pitch in to cover it. I really hope this attack doesn't ruin the game servers for all of us.

I checked it out. Pretty impressive for a free game! I'm guessing they want to get you addicted so you eventually spend money to improve your character. Reminds me of all the Facebook games in that regard. lol.
I'll probably just enjoy creating characters more than actually playing it.

Ahh, yeah, the cable car map! It was a massively huge map but there was a lot to it that I liked. Those glowing crystals in the caves were awesome! There was some good sniping on that one.

I'm liking the sound of the Venice map! That one you made with the sparkling fairy lights and a castle was so pretty. At least I think that was one of yours?

If you can manage to get online around 2:00pm eastern you should find a few of us in the Doomsday server.
My compass never shows up when I join a game anymore. Just hit the " key and you'll see it again.
