    You can use the radioprefab in nolf2, but this won't work in CJ..Had to make my own there.. Let me know if you need it and I'll send it to you smile.gif

     

    A good tip about AIs/bots would be to check the AI referance lta/ltc files located in the project directory.. You'll figure out a lot how they work there smile.gif

  3. Well, keep in mind that the pegasus mod that you have played is only a beta version.. A final version will be around sooner or later smile.gif

     

    The missing textures in Montana isn't Coty's fault at all though,

    it was a glitch that was made when the maps were rezed together..

    the textures are all there but in the wrong folder.

     

    You can easily fix this by opening the pegasus maps rez file and move a folder called Coty from the 'textures' folder and place it one level up.. however this will make you unable to host the map on a server, but it will work fine if you join a server that is running a unaltered version of it smile.gif

     

    1.2gb, genesis? the whole mod is about 130mb ohmy.gif

  4. I thought about the same thing, but haven't had any luck finding the scope picture yet...I'll let you know if I ever find it. If it's a DTX file then its likely it can be used as a client side skin mod.

    I'll proly look into the code sometime and find it for sure.

    The crosshair dtx files are located in INTERFACE/HUD/CROSSHAIR

     

    It's a alphamask texture, the main texture is white

    but it has a 2nd layer that is the actual crosshair.

  5. It's possible, very easy way, just copy "game.rez" file from CJ folder to NOLF2/Custom/Resources folder.

    Yep. that will replace the missing textures in the CJ maps, it won't add tags to the maps, and you'll be able to play them.. but with missing weapons and without tags

     

    however if you use CJ's game.rez as a mod.. then nolf2 will be CJ.. You'll have the weapons,sounds,menu,loadingscreen etc.. but that will also replace Nolf2's object.lto with CJ's object lto.. and the tags will be disabled in all of the maps.

     

    Since the nolf2 is basically running as Cj but can be hosted as nolf2 servers cool.gif

     

    You can also combine several files in a mod, but many of them won't work with nolf2's engine, such as the pegasus mod sad.gif

  6. You'll need the source LTA files to alter a map, such as adding weapons, etc

     

    However, you can play most of the maps without any problem, but there will be no tags, kitties, rocketlauncher.. Some textures might be missing too, but most of them are the same in both games..

     

    Mods is a different story, for instance.. the jetpack in the pegasus mod won't work in nolf2, neither would AIs (bots)

     

    Another known issue is the characters.. they jump a lot higher in CJ!

    that might cause a few problems with staircases, boxes that you can jump on to etc..

     

    Why not do it the easy way and play CJ? hehe biggrin.gif
