Thanks ..i already tried this...i can start and the multiplayer appears...i can make lan host and all things like before
Only the button Costum in the laucher is not there
Is there another way beside this button to activate the mod?
I assume you have the Custom/resources folder in your NOLF2 install folder with the Livesforever mod folder/files too?

in Nolf folder the update1.3 rez is there also the costum-folder
Only the button Costums dont there
I have Windows 7 but to install older games like NOLF2 I turn off the annoying UAC (User access control), when I had Vista. Right click it and run as administrator (the installer file) to install the update.

hey Nolfers..need help
After PC-crash i reinstalled Windows...and of course Nolf
but
I tried 10 times to install the 1.3 update but it dont works
Tried from original cd and also from unoty dl .....waaaa
Always show me vers.1.0 and the Costum button is not there
So i cant activate the mod to play and this total sucks on sundays
What version of Windows did you install?

I downloaded the map pack yesterday so it should be up to date. No other rez files in the folder.
Somwhere on the forum I read that the map Unityhq DD map is missing from the map pack and it should be downloaded manually.
Where can I download it if that's the case or is it already in the map pack.
I had forgotten this game is sooo much fun
Ok, so I messed up when rezzing the new mappack. It didn't go to the resources folder because the one in the folder was last modified in 2008.
I deleted the old one and now have the new mappack installed, hopefully it works now.

Well I get the same error sometimes when trying to join a game. I have in my resources folder the map pack 210308.rez and the bollywood.rez.
Do I need any other maps to be able to play?
I played some maps like the pad and more violence in the villa and the japan map so it seems I should have the map pack needed or do I ....?
You may have a older version of the mappack so I would recommend downloading the one in the UHQ downloads. I'll be adding the Bollywood map by this weekend to the server so it's good you already have it.
Do you have any other rez files in your resources folder?

Cause real life job=paycheck takes priority over Adding map to server=free
It's on my list to do. Everyone else is being paitient (including those who donate to keep the server going)

i made skins for the ninja and agent for DD server
its not a mod, and the server dont have to run them..
this will replace the " Update_v1x3.rez " in your game folder...
with a modified vers. of the " Update_v1x3.rez "
get them here
Though if you don't have the new file you won't see others wearing the new skin

I had problems joining server...the mfclient-application--error...i was on server and my ping was raising up
With female intuition i found a solution
before i start nolf i copy a copy of the litech.exe to itself and overwrite it
Dunno how or why or whatever but no more problems..can join on first try
I've heard of that solution before. Another is to reinstall if you've been using the no cd exe (especially if you have Windows Vista or 7) as they don't seem to like the no cd option on some PCs

Hey,Maybe I will be able to host an 24/7 deathmatch/doomsday server (whatever you want), which will be located in Austria / Europe....
The server won't be as fast as the UnityHQ server, but I think that this is an option ?!
Meaning you want to host it from a personal PC? You would want to check with your ISP if that's allowed (most don't allow it) plus you'd need a fast upload/download speed to compensate for client pings etc.

Yes I would do this. But as long as I can play deathmatch in CJ with a few players, a good ping in Sweden and own maps I don´t need to. And there is no garanty other Nolf2 players are interested in Deathmatch, too.How much needs to be in the fund?

That is correct sir the Bollywood map is one the server.
Should be part of the rotation.
