Hello! Thank you so much for your reply!

I already had the custom folder, I even deleted it and readded it and the two other folders just in case to no avail.

I can't think what the problem could be. It worked perfectly fine before hand. I downloaded the 1.3 update just to be sure and it wasn't that either.

    Very frustrating >_<

Did you install from the original media or?

but way way back there used to be the official forums with various Cate Archer wallpapers/desktops.  Anyone happen to still have those or no where I can find them?

If memory serves me correctly they were in a NOLF fansite kit.  I may have that around somewhere. I see what I can find.

  3. As I am not familiar with the version of the game they are offering on their site I can only speculate that it may have to do with permissions.

If you try running the game in Windows compatibility mode, specifically Windows XP SP3 with the run as administrator option that may resolve your particular issue.

Saw a thread about NOLF on another site so I got curious if anyone still played it and i found this site. Looks very interesting and must say I love that these games still have a community like this. So cool!

Hi Eliteone! Crazy to see we are up and running after so many years! I am doing great. Have some more free time so wanted to check out the game. Would love to get a match going like good ole days haha. I figured it out and got the game working. It feels so different!

I dont remember the mouse sensitivity being so big. Even after reducing it to nothing.

    Cheers!

With newer high DPI gaming mice you have to slow the DPI way down for the NOLF games.

    Hello!

Some nostalgia hit me up this week and Ive been playing some NOLF1 and thinking in install NOLF2.

Do You guys still run multiplayer for our beloved games?

I'm 35 years old now, when we met back in 2002/2003 I was just 17 to 18 years old!

    Best wishes!!

Long time. Hope You've been well.

Still hosting NOLF 1 and NOLF 2 servers. The later has one of your maps in the rotation currently.

This is actually a problem specific to the RX 5000 series GPU's not jiving with lithtech. I was trying to get AVP 2 to run and had the same exact flickering issues, and in the game's discord community someone was saying there was an issue with vertex buffering and gave me a custom DLL to fix it. Now we just need someone with the knowhow to do the same with NOLF.

The modernizer should address this issue for you.

For me, I just got the GOTY version and it worked for me. However, there is a website made by the fans for the fans to try and revive the old NOLF games, even Contract Jack. The installers come with the updated patches, a NO CD crack, and widescreen support. I'll drop the link here: http://nolfrevival.tk/. Also, click the Mega Mirror links and then click the full download link because otherwise you download the game into different parts. After that it's as basic as choosing a directory.

All the games are here on in the downloads section here on the forum.

i have an original NOLF 1 with all the patches running on an old 32 bit machine.  I want to move it to my Windows 10 machine, i have not been able to get working (with the regedit approach).    I think, based on what i have read here, i will just download the GOTY version.  Does that sound right?  will i still need to have the disc1 in the drive to play the game?    Thanks for your help!

Yes you would need to use the GOTY version to play on Windows 10.
