Hello everyone,
Our hosting is up for renewal soon. Last year we did this and hit the goal of keeping this community going for another year.
I'm asking again to all of you who still enjoy the NOLF game series as much as I do to help keep this going for all of us who enjoy these games.
This keeps the forums and downloads up and running 24/7.

The original NOLF won't run on Windows 10 well if at all.
The GOTY version of NOLF runs on Windows 10.

Are you using Windows 10? Can you right-click and mount the iso?

What error specifically are you getting? -
I assume you reached out to them for support on it?
Not sure how their package for it is setup.
I would try the NOLF GOTY edition from our downloads and see if you have better results with it.

I would recommend downloading the goty-setup.exe file from HERE.

Not sure if the modernizer was tested with Windows XP as it has been end of life by Microsoft for several years now.
I would assume Jake made the modernizer to work with Windows 10 and newer hardware specifically.
NOLF Goty was made around the Windows XP era so should run fine on it without the need for the modernizer.

Windows 10? make sure the port used for the server is open in the windows firewall.

Not sure if the PS2 version was ever ported over to PC.

A remake of the Nightfire game using Source.

NightFire: Source is a mod based on the NightFire PC and Console game and will be released on the Source engine.
The idea to start working on a new version of NightFire was first found on the NightFire Community Forums. Although it got quite the attention, plans didn’t work out and it was soon forgotten. Later in 2013 the development of the mod was mentioned again with bigger success. An informative website was launched and soon followed the forums so players could start connecting and sharing their ideas.
In just a few months, the website and the name NightFire: Source went viral. We got a lot of attention and even gained a few new developers out of it.
Our goal is to keep the NightFire game alive by moving it over to the more modern Source-engine. The game will be in HD and contain new content.
The picture on the left shows an HD texture compared to it’s classic one.From 2014 – 2016 we released several alpha releases so players could test the game with us and share their ideas. We even organised a play weekend to test the latest alpha version of the time.

While we're not involved with creating the version they distribute over there, are you running any of the mods like Livesforever or Livesforever plus while playing single player?
If so disable the mods then try the single player.

Do you have any mods enabled when playing the single player? If so disable them then try it.
