Here's the link to the official announcement. A bit of background: one of the issues muddling up the rights to the Nolf series is that Activision-Blizzard (ATVI) may or may not still have some rights or claim on the series. No has been able to pay ATVI enough to motivate them to search through all of their old paper documents to see what is actually ATVI's legal situation vis-à-vis Nolf. Now, with Microsoft buying Activision-Blizzard (ATVI), I hope this makes it a bit easier for someone to see what IPs ATVI actually holds. (ATVI's history goes back the Atari 2600 so they likely have a lot of IP still in their possession.) So here's to the buyout passing regulatory muster and actually helping clear up some of the legal issues surrounding the Nolf series. Yeah, this is a major helping of wishful thinking, but the Nolf situation is so murky that events like this at least give us a chance to hope for a better legal situation, one where Nolf could be legally remastered and released.

Hey guys, ive done a texture upscaling for NOLF 2 using AI upscaling. Textures are now 200% larger, they have more mipmaps, which means less jagged lines at distance, and ive also removed the compression. The effect is everything looks more neat, sharper and less visible pixelated textures. I will post some screenshots, but you can see the difference better in game. I also completely replaced some textures that i managed to find the source material for, nothing big, but its neat. I also redid some UI elements like health bars, from scratch. The mod is 1.8gb to download, and once you decompress it, its 4.11 gb, in 3 files. Those 3 files, you put in your "NOLF2/Custom/Mods/ANYMODNAME" folder. I assume most of you know what to do. It replaces just texture files, so if you have any other mods that arent textures, it shouldnt be a problem. It DOES NOT confilct with Modernizer, and i strongly encourage you install that too. Hello, I'm new here I made an Upscale mod for NOLF1 game Upscaled all the textures from the game using AI neural network, converted them to DTX with DTX information being transfered from original files, and packed to REZ Since game does not directly supports upscaled textures for its levels (rendering them with wrong scale), all the level DAT files were edited by multiplying UV vectors. Same here: disconnecting my wireless USB headset receiver made the game launch properly The weird thing is, the game worked for 2 days after I installed it just fine with the usb headset receiver plugged in Glad someone found out the solution for this weird problem, so thanks

Server Information

Grab the NOLF 2 download from the downloads and then grab the Modernizer mod and you should be good to go.

I've added the files to play and host James Bond Nightfire to the downloads. We're even hosting a Nightfire server. Be sure to check it out.

Welcome. There are online servers. Most use the modernizer mod along with the complete game patched to the latest version.

Just finished testing with Crossover Version 21.2 both Golf 1 and golf 2 work great!

NOLF is number 5 on their list.

I'm not doubting you on this. Since I'm not a developer I'm trying to assist you with getting it working for you. I'll setup my NOLF again and document the steps I use to get it working. Hopefully it will help.
