I'm not sure if you mean favourite music that happens to be on youtube or favourite music videos. But here are some of mine:

Tricky - Black Steel. A militant Public Enemy song, sung by a cute girl, with a masked metal band. There's a giraffe too. Giraffes are cool.

Depeche Mode - Never let me down. Enjoy the Silence is supposed to be their best, but I like this one (same director anyway).

Massive Attack - Sly. Another band famous for their cool videos. This one is less well-known, but it features the sweet voice of Nicolette.

. All about David Byrne.

Sonic Youth - Dirty Boots. Because Goo would be a bit too obvious.

Royksopp - Remind Me. How to make graphs and pie charts exciting.

Chemical Brothers - Let Forever Be. I think Noel Gallagher should be their regular lead singer (see also Setting Sun).

Aphex Twin - Ventolin. Their later videos, Windowlicker or Come to Daddy are much more freaky and famous, but I prefer this one because I used to have chronic bronchitis and this visualises that feeling perfectly.

Bjork - Triumph of a Heart. Bjorkness + Spike Jonesness = Goodness.

Goldie - Inner City Life. Drum'n'Bass may be over now, but it was great once.

UNKLE - Rabbit in your Headlights. Just a guy walking down a street. Probably the best video ever made.

Goldfrapp - Twist. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. Sometimes it isn't.

Pulp - Babies (original video). Jarvis Cocker studied at film academy and you can tell from his videos. (Others include Lipgloss, Disco 2000, Babies (new version), This is hardcore).

Band w/ female lead singer

Heart - Who Will You Run To http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLuVLf95kBc What can I say, Heart (Ann Wilson) Rocks! Love this band.

For more music video timewasting, Pitchfork has a list of 100 Awesome Music Videos and Stylus has a Top 100 Music Videos of All Time. Which has a favourite of mine as #1, and my favourite Johnny Cash video at #2 (though I already liked the original).

And, though something like Closer by Nine Inch Nails at #88 may be the most shocking, #43, Vidrar Vel Til Loftarasa by Sigur Ros features the OMG moment of the week for me.

Also interesting how certain bands (Radiohead, Bjork, Aphex Twin, Chemical Brothers) and directors (Anton Corbijn, Michel Gondry, Spike Jonze) always have multiple entries...

I've always liked this song....(funny to try and sing it when you are by yourself in the car)

Enigma - Return to Innocence

I've actually never even *heard* that whole song -- just the weird Native American or whatever part with the music in the background. Didn't even know there were lyrics in English!!!!

Watching it yesterday, this one made me put all my father's Enigma cds on my MP3 player. Hadn't listened to them since ages :) .

Garth Brooks - Belleau Wood

I like songs with good lyrics, especially those with a bit of a setting and a story to them. This is one of my current favorite songs. Forgive the cheesy karaoke format - it was the only one I found on YouTube - but at least this way you can follow the lyrics.

It's not a Christmas song by intention (and it's not historically correct, either), but I feel it is very much in the Christmas spirit.
